A Day on the KWVR

Today was a Vintage Steam Day on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway with the added bonus of a Brass Band playing at Oxenhope Station.  Me & Mrs MD could not resist so off we went.
This is 'Coal Tank' 1054 bringing in one of the trains - 129 years old and still working for a living.
The band began playing and it was all tremendously nostalgic.
We purchased tickets and had a return trip down into Keighley and back - in the luxury of a restored Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Club Car.  Very decadent :-)
My extra is our very own blipper AiredaleKnitter - a member of the BD1 Brass Band who were the guest band today.
