New camera, old route

A day that held a few surprises. Well, I guess it wasn't really a surprise that our morning walk would be curtailed by damp weather, but it was good to be able to catch a few snapshots along the river first before the rain started. And we did manage it up to the weir and back, but we had to take a short route home.

I was then settling into a little writing this afternoon, when we heard a knock at the door. It turned out to be a our neighbour from upstairs who was two weeks early for a wee party we're planning. Never mind. She brought white wine, and we already had some chilled white wine. So we sat and chatted, and caught up (mainly about a car abandoned in her parking space that is right next to our space and which she has been trying to get removed for weeks), and actually learned quite a bit about each other. It was rather fun and very neighbourly. Anyway, she'll be back in two weeks time.

Now, after some supper, we're spending some more quality time with our music collection. Great to reacquaint ourselves.
