Cordoba

After another round of tostades it was on to Cordoba for a couple of days of luxury at the Parador de la Arruzafa, which is slightly out of the centre (in the area we nicknamed 'the Hollywood Hills') but, as a result, has plenty of grounds, an orange garden and a very large pool around which we could spend a decent portion of the increasingly hot afternoons. We took a cab to and from the town centre and had a wander around the Old Town, much more Moorish and 'holiday-ish' with it's little winding whitewashed streets of cafes and souvenir shops.  Then we went back to the Hotel to put in a little pool time before treating ourselves to a slap-up three-course meal on the Terrace...

Song of all the Days, really...
