Slow Worm in a wood at Abbey St Bathans.

About a year or more after taking this, I mentioned I'd seen one to someone, and they asked me to send a record in, along with any photos for an identification check. A while more after that, I was sent thanks, along with various wildlife pamphlets. It was the first to be recorded in that area for over a hundred years. The locals knew they were about, but there just wasn't anybody doing any survey checks in the area, so they weren't known about to the recorders. A common problem in some places, with all manner of fauna and flora.
