Greater Knapweed

Captured whilst out on a early walk this morning - arriving home just as the rain began to fall.

I believe that this is Greater Knapweed - it was initially the little bug on the flower that caught my eye - but I couldn’t get a decent close up of just the bug. Then the buds grabbed my attention and I had to get a shot of them - couldn’t decide which to blip so I put them together - especially as each suited the square format on their own.

A day of indoor housework looms - hence the early blip as I am trying to put it off.

Ooh - Mrs madwill just had a message from our daughter - do we want to meet up for coffee?? So I guess the housework can wait…..
