Old faithful

Chilly day, and still no sign of the patio being finished. "We will come tomorrow" said Peter. I do hope he keeps his word,  I'm fed up with the mess.

This rose was in the garden when we moved in, fifty years ago. It is always generous with its flowers and is very healthy,  never getting black spot. This year I have yet to see a greenfly on any of the roses either!
