Wild rabbit

Something moved away from me when I walked past some parked cars on my way to the bus stop to go to work. It wasn't one of the usual magpies, jackdaws or wood pigeons this time, but a wild rabbit. Fortunately it stopped when it reached some grass a little further so I could get the camera out of my bag and photograph it before it ran off again.

This is the first wild rabbit I've seen since one shot off as I walked past a shrub on the other side of the road from my building when the area was being disturbed to build a bridge for cyclists almost a year ago.

Many thanks for all the comments and stars on my last two blips.
