Silbury Hill

We drove up the road to Avebury this morning. Paid £7 to park and then walked through the stone circle and across the fields to Silbury Hill.

Back into Avebury village for Cheese Scones and tea, then a potter around some plant stalls and then home.

I don't understand the fuss about nearby Stonehenge - Avebury is far superior. Money should be spent on taking the road around Avebury (currently the main road goes through the stone circle) and not spent on tunnelling under Stonehenge!

Home to plant the Echinacea and Agapanthus I bought.

There's an extra.
