The Mudeford Servant

Thanks for all the stars and hearts which sent my falcon soaring into the Popular pages.  Actually, I think some of the hearts were for his reptilian friend, but I prefer birds.  You're lucky I didn't blip the spider.  It was very large and black and hairy and  had an orange blob on its back.

Today was the turn of the RNLI funday at Mudeford.  It amazes me to think that the RNLI receives no Government money at all, and all its crewmen are volunteers.  When I was a child they used the All Clear siren at the fire station to call up the crew, and I can remember men running out of shops and heading for the harbour.
