April Skies - The Jesus and Mary Chain

This is the last song title blip for a while I promise. I had decided to do this song for today right back near the start of March so deliberately avoided any Jesus and Mary Chain for the month.

How could I leave out possibly Scotland's greatest ever rock band though? The Associates were OK but JAMC are certainly my favourite Scots band. They are also quite probably the best thing ever to originate from East Kilbride Basically comprised of the Reid brothers then various other members through the years (including a very young Bobby Gillespie on drums many years ago).

They are one of Roz's alltime favourite bands and one of the main reasons we decided to get tickets for the Connect festival this year.

Hopefully they'll play plenty of old classics rather than new material. This track would certainly be a welcome addition on the setlist.
