Competition

We took it easy this morning and after a huge breakfast, eventually got back on the long road south.  The traffic wasn’t too bad, and we made reasonable time to our destination and our holiday cottage in Dorset.

Our route finder instructions were perfect until we got within twenty miles of our destination and then took us on single track roads, which may have been the most direct route, but was not the easiest route to navigate.  We abandoned the instructions and managed to get ourselves back onto reasonable roads and we found our cottage.

We unpacked the car, and explored our home for the next fortnight.  It had lots of character and dated back to 1646.  Having sat in the car for so long, we all went out for a wander and to do more exploring and to pick up provisions for tea.

We had a quiet evening, and once BB was in bed, TT and I started watching the third series of Broadchurch.

Our holiday cottage came complete with table football!
