Silver-Spotted Skipper

I took the kids to the Butterfly House today, but it was unbearably hot and humid so we left once the whining began.  I got some nice shots, but I liked this one the best which was taken just after we exited into the gardens. There are so many different kinds of Skippers and I do not know the names of any of them, except for this one, for obvious reasons. 

Thanks to all of you who have entered the Tiny Tuesday Challenge for this week.  I am looking forward to having a good look at all the images and I expect to post my favorites on Thursday, but no later than Friday.  The kids are here until Thursday and they are keeping me pretty busy.
