Butterfly Days

Tentatively blipping this as a Scotch Argus, as I've not seen one before. This means however that the beautiful Swallowtail gets relegated to extra (purely because I blipped one last year) as does the stupendous view towards the Mont Blanc Massif with Rochers de Fiz just in front and Les Gets slopes in the foreground.

The four of us took the télécabine and télésiège up Mont Chery and then walked down the ridge to Mont Caly, marvelling at the views the whole way. I really thought that would be my blip but it was a little hazy and the butterflies have come out better.

Thought of Mum & Dad today as they'd love it up here and it's so easily accessible with the mechanical lifts.

This evening Jérôme treated us to a local exhibition ice hockey match which Morzine Avoriez won. The crowd was very spirited and it was lots of fun.
