Photographic Poeticisms

Bloody Hands

I dreamed
And as I dreamed
So did the sky
Run with the blood
Of they who would
And of they who did
Abuse those creatures
Who held no harm
But only tried
To live the lives they had been given
Who cared not
For the designs or desires of man
But who yet
Found themselves
Despised and reviled
Hunted and persecuted
For no other reason
Than they were there
For no other reason
Than those
With might
With power
With money
But with hearts
Devoid of compassion
Who saw each creature
As a sport
A game
To be played
Endlessly
To win
Gloriously
Without battle
Would have
Their trophy
Their hands covered in
The blood

Of another innocent

For once I can't and shan't put smilies on my comments because this photo and the words as far as I am concerned are memorials to all of Her creatures man has destroyed and who continues do destroy for sport - or, for some flimsy ill-considered and baseless excuse such as the present one with the badgers.

If you haven't already done so please consider putting your name to the petition to stop the badger cull:
