BUTTERFLY SCENE

In the morning some little chores to be done and after lunch (an early one) we drove to Holzminden, a bit further away from home than usual.
We wanted to walk the Hasselbach path. The leaflet gave a nice impression of it, and the weatherforecast was good.
When we found the parkingplace, we kind of thought that we had been there before, but nothing of our walk was somehow familiar.
The path along one side of the brook climbed all the time, it went along the forest and we saw the brook only in the depth.
Then we came at a field with flowers on a slope and we decided to enter that. Piet Hein immediately went to the brook, and I stayed in the meadow and looked for tiny creatures. I was lucky to find a little common blue butterly. There were other butterflies too bit these did not sit still for longer than a second.
We continued our way till we reached the Niemann villa, and turned there around, and walked the path at the other side of the brook.
This side was so much more interesting and beautiful, it goes directly along the brook, with signs of birds and other beasts that live there.
The path ended in a small residential area, and we found our car easy enough.
Then we drove a longer road back home. Five o'clock, around Höxter it was crowded, but all went well.
We both are so tired now, a bit of a surprise to us.
