The Light

Still bad air from the wildfires in BC... Not as dangerous as more inland however.   Our boys left at 7 am to an eerie orange sunrise ( left)  but there was a sunset of sorts  tonight still with an odd orange sun.  ..much better than the last 2 nights.  The other is the friend who is parked at the dock on her boat, at dinner.. I never sit on this side of the table ( kids spot) so rarely get this view.. And that light was fabulous.   In between we had a family staying on their boat visit with 2 small grandchildren ( extra..painting rocks in the studio) who didn't want to leave.   The grandparents will be back to take the next reservation on the dock ( after we have left).  Everyone boats the first week of August I guess.  Traditionally the best weather... But not like this air.  
Maple was tired out today..  As are we. !
