Tomnaverie Stone near Tarland

Day Five of the six days of Orienteering completed. A better result today although not a perfect run by any means. The day was cooler and more showery than it has been although we were lucky to avoid any rain on our runs.

On the way home we decided to stop off at a stone circle. It was very atmospheric set on top of a hill. The view I chose was of a recumbent stone with pillars either side which framed a view of Lochnagar which is over 20 miles away.

One more day to go before a long journey home. May need a rest after two weeks of activity!
