Near the Basin End

Another Sunday walk to Clarendon Court (Dad continues to decline). Afterwards walked into Nantwich and caught a c84 bus to Alpraham, and had a couple of pints with the usual regulars in the Travellers Rest. Then Alf dropped me at Barbridge and I walked back along the canal to Nantwich.

The roof at my Dad's house is leaking and it looks like it might need completely replacing. It's not an issue while he's in a residential home, of course, but it affects anyone staying in the house, and will be a factor if and when we come to sell it.
