Lady's underwear shop in Hospital Street, Nantwich. The town has several boutiques catering to what I suppose is the "Cheshire set". The shop's name is, I think, a reminder of foundation garments.

Dad not doing well. Clearly feeling worse, eating hardly anything and drinking the bare minimum to survive, while he is constant pain that the oral morphine and morphine patches don't really seem to resolve.

Afraid I burst into tears after visiting him this evening.... I think he was trying to encourage me not to worry and to leave him on his own, but it came out as though visiting him was "useless".
