The Dene

Back in Edinburgh we wandered round the Stockbridge Sunday Market lookng for goodies for lunch. R had so many tasters  I am surprised he had any appetite left. We walked up the Dene to Dean Village (featured). Dene means deep valley and 100s of years ago Dean Village was host to about 11 mills powered by the Water of Leith that flows down the valley. M  (extra) with my old camera was practicing his moving water shots in the Dene
