Hazlehead Park

Today we had a light lunch at the Park Cafe in Hazlehead Park. The cafe was busy, and it looked like they had a function on later as well.

A recent addition is the veranda in front of the cafe is now covered. This will be a great relief to people sitting outside with their dogs when it is raining.

We went for a walk in the park and admired the rose gardens, much of which is looking very nice, though parts are in need of removing withered flowers.

There is obviously a lot of work going on in the park to enhance the grass areas some of which are prone to flooding.
