Chicken of the woods

Backblip from Sunday.

A pretty busy day. In the morning I went to chapel where I'm temporary organist then F and I went out for a delicious Sunday lunch.

We then went for a walk in Chirk Castle woodland (it was certainly not enough to walk off that pudding!) The weather felt very autumnal and there were some fungi around. There were a lot of parasol mushrooms and this Chicken of the Woods growing on an oak tree. They are edible but I've never tried one.

In the evening I went to a music session at a local pub which was packed with singers and musicians so a pretty busy Sunday!
