Harvest

The tomatoes are ripening pretty fast now, and we'll soon have to start making pasta sauce to freeze. The courgettes have been very sulky this year. The yellow ones are making a not entirely enthusiastic attempt to get going again, and we're getting one or two fruits from them, but the solitary green one looks to have given up for good. Interestingly, it was much more severely attacked by blackfly than the yellow ones, so we might switch to all yellow in future. The way the green stalks change suddenly to yellow fruit looks almost unreal.
