Full stretch ...

Monday 7th August (1808)

... I know the feeling! 

There was a whole family of Great tits feasting on the nuts at lunch time. I went to get the camera and when I returned moments later they had turned into a squirrel! It was fun watching his antics for a while, including using the pole like a fireman's pole and sliding down it. I'm not sure if this upside down full stretch feeding will catch on, don't think I will give it a go. I was amazed when I zoomed in (inset) to see how he was holding on, that doesn't appear to be a firm grip! 

Today is the start of what will be a tough and emotionally draining week. Sorry, I have fallen behind with your journals again but will catch up next week. Thanks for sticking with me.
