Cats

One of the most enjoyable activities in Newtonmore is the "wildcat experience". Over 130 painted wildcat sculptures are situated around the village - some are easier to spot than others - and the task is to find them!

To get the full 'experience' one buys a booklet from the outlet in the village; it has pictures of all the different cats and a map. Match each cat to a place on the map and if you find more than 50 you win a prize. It's a great way to get out and about and is utterly addictive.

Don't think I found more than 30 - only another 100 or so to find!
