Foody Week

We had a leisurely start to the day and I enjoyed my yummy 12 blueberries on my porridge!  We then had a while in the allotment picking the last of the plums from the very top of the tree and a bowlful of blackcurrants before the promised rain arrived.

After lunch I stodged on the settee and caught up with the final three episodes of The Handmaid's Tale - a truly excellent series.  Then it was on with the processing of the allotment produce - onions, potatoes and tomatoes in to tomato soup; blackcurrants in to coulis and in to the freezer, in and around making a chicken and leek pie for tea.  Now I'm googling plum recipes!
