Sweet Honeybee

Heleniums are a macro photographers best friend. For some reason, the way the bees collect the nectar means they remain on the flower for quite a few moments. Enough time to focus and get a couple of decent shots before they move onto the next flower.

The fox in the extras was a lunchtime visitor to the garden today. This was the first one this summer.
