Gone Fishing....

I got stranded at Trentham Gardens for a couple of hours this evening due to the M6 motorway being closed. Much of the traffic was being diverted past the entrance to the gardens through Stoke-on-Trent.

It's not a bad place to be stranded. It was sunny and warm and certainly less stressful than the traffic problems elsewhere.

I watched the butterflies, the birds and the bees. Then I watched this heron fishing right next to the path.
