With Your Tall Houses, Steep Stairs & Mad Cyclists

Amsterdam: Day 4
Last day today, so bags packed (and kindly thanks to owner Arno, left at the accommodation), we set off to the flea market at Waterlooplein and we left the kids wandering around the stalls as we enjoyed a well earned sit down at a street cafe to watch the world go by.

We walked back through the city, over the bridge of locks, past the flower market and ended up at the Rijksmuseum, where the kids wanted to pose on the infamous IAMsterdam sign.

Well 'thank you' Amsterdam, you are a beautiful city of beautiful people, where everyone is accepted, even the man in the clock...with your tall houses, steep stairs and mad cyclists...we love you and we will be back.
