Blanchland Moor

I met up with a couple of photography pals and we headed out to Blanchland Moor in the pursuit of some heather shots.  There was lots of heather about but the there were few features to make the photographs look interesting.  One of the girls knew of some old chimneys from old mine workings and this dam so we made our way there.  What we hadn't prepared for was the chill in the breeze and it was bitterly cold having only taken a couple of layers and a light jacket.  We stuck it out though and enjoyed some lovely evening light.
