An Honest Chemist

Whilst walking around the Victorian Spa town of Buxton today, I came across this old chemist shop - Est 1875.  A most interesting shop and I was rather surprised at their honesty.  The window declares they sell "Pharmaceuticals, Tonics, Nostrums'.  Investigating the definition of 'Nostrums' I found it was 'a medicine prepared by an unqualified person, especially one that is not considered effective'.  Honest indeed :-)
