BlipMeet

First blip meet I've been to for a while, and I nearly thought it was going to be too wet to go. Glad I decided to go - met an interesting group of blippers - mostly from Edinburgh but a couple had come down from Abernethy, near Perth. Always interesting to put faces to blipnames (and real names to both). This is Hell4Murph who proposed the meeting in the first place. A number of us said that it still seems a little difficult to find when meet-ups are happening as the page on the forum is a little tucked away, but people sharing the link on their blips leading up to the meet-up had been effective. It's how I noticed it was happening. We said it would be good to organise another, especially as there are so many blippers in and around Edinburgh. The key is probably just to pick a place and time that at least two people can manage and then tell others about it. Not everyone will be able to make it on a particular day but if they are more frequent then there are more opportunities. We had an enjoyable wander round the gardens today, chatting and taking pictures.
