Rudbeckia

Rudbeckias have been a bit of a theme in my photos lately, but this one has just flowered and is irresistible. Of the 20 or so annual rudbeckias I planted out, all are a golden yellow colour, except this single deep rusty orange one, which I think is the best of the lot. No doubt it won't come true from seed (assuming I can get any viable seed from it), but it might be worth a try next year. I can't recall whether this year's plants were supposed to be mixed colours, or all yellow, but I'm delighted anyway to have got this one.
