August Columbine

I've never had Columbines in August before.  I don't think I've seen them much past the beginning of July.  This was the only one I found and it was pretty well hidden by a rose bush.  Maybe that's why it survived so long and we've been having much cooler and damper weather than usual.  Anyway, I had to have it in my journal today.  My extra shows our rig all hitched and ready to leave first thing in the morning!  My next blip will be from Lake Granby :-))
