Bounty!

The wild roses adorning the local hedgerows I photographed on the first of June have progressed to a bounty of bright red swollen rose hips, making the hedgerow look just as attractive as the pink and white flowers did nearly 3 months ago.
On that note, I feel quite sad at the moment, everything just feels so autumnal - I find it difficult to get my head around the fact it is still mid August and I am on holiday, as it 'feels' like late September and as the song goes 'I really should be back at school'.
I really need to shake this off, and think up some interesting challenges for myself in the months to come!
Now, to find a recipe for rose hips........
