An Afternoon at the Theater

Dear Diary,

Well, I made it to the performance and I am so glad I did...it was wonderful.  Very well acted and staged.  I even stopped for an early dinner afterwards on my way home.  This is my annual summer treat and I'm glad I didn't have to miss it although I am a bit under the weather this morning.

There was a great quote in the playbill by Oscar Wilde.  I do love quotes:

The stage is not just the meeting place of all the arts, but it is also the return of art to life.
