A time for everything

Fisherman

Sunday
It was a chilly start to the day - in the mid to upper 30's F. We spent all morning at church as usual, then stopped to do some grocery shopping on the way home. Laura had suggested we try and Skype sometime today, so I turned my laptop on when we got home just in case she was online, and lo and behold she was! I know its only been just over a week since she left for Macedonia, and she did text us at stages during her journey, and we have had a couple of e-mails, but it's seemed longer than that - maybe because she is in what is to us a totally unknown country and surroundings. Anyway, the link worked pretty well, so we were able to see her face and hear her voice, which was great - oh the joys of modern technology! After lunch, and watching a bit of the Bengals football game, we went out biking on the Little Miami trail. Although it was nice and sunny, it was quite breezy and still rather on the cool side. This shot was taken in Morrow, where a tributary joins the Little Miami, and this fisherman and the two canoes added further interest to the picture.
