Beauty is all around us.

Browsholme Hall and Gardens, Clitheroe, Lancashire

Paul and me awoke to the seriously terrible loud sound of the house next to us being sandblasted. I am quite sensitive to sound so we decided to have a day out and visit a lovely house and gardens.
This was our first time at Browsholme Hall, and we took a guided tour.
The Parker Family have been blessed to live there over the generations since Tudor times, being Bowbearers of the Forest of Bowland.
There is much of interest to discover there, including magnificent architecture, antiques, fine paintings, oak chests and Gillow furniture.
The grounds are tranquil and beautiful.
There is a Yew walk, a lake and great eatery, that serves local produce, wine, or tea/coffee.
The tithe Barn has been converted for weddings, parties and Conferences.
I enjoyed every minute.
