they came back!

nobody was more surprised than me - well, and miss mollie-boo as we both spotted flashes of blue about the same time - grabbing my camera and hoping they'd still be there - off i went to see if i could capture a few shots - since it appeared there were 2 blues this time around - fortune was with me as they were in a playful mood - flying between the tree branches - landing for nary a moment - like the one i've posted - and then simply coming in for a landing - but not staying (on the extra you'll see how i was able to capture one swooping up to the tree)

these are the kinds of shots which get my heart racing - because you're never quite sure where the birds - are going to go or land - it's like you have to be on hyper- alert constantly - which is fine but it certainly gets your adrenaline going - just seeing these blues was a thrill - to be able to get a couple of decent pics out of the deal - was like the cherry on top - i can be such a kid with things like this - it's easy to see why it leads to...
