Melia azedarach

This is an Australian native with lots of common names, I call it the white cedar or Melia ( cos I know what it is). It is a pest in many countries as these seeds are proliferic. It's hardy to our hot dry conditions, has lovely scented flowers and foliage but the berries are a nucience, they are hard and poisonous. I would have them in the garden if not for the berries.

This was taken from the car while waiting for the grandchildren at school this afternoon, the extra is of the landscape from the same position.

Happy birthday to Zach. ( We are going to visit him in Sydney next week) . 6 years old. Wow!
