The Last Bong

Scaffolding is already going up around the Elizabeth Tower and from Monday next week the bongs of Big Ben will be silenced until 2021.

Unless I am down in London on special occasions such as New Year's Eve or Remembrance Sunday the it's unlikely that I'll hear the chimes again for another few years.
