Bridges across the Tyne

All of today's Blip candidates were either from the train or Waverley Station. I'm not sure this is the best, the other contender I've included in extras.

A very enjoyable journey down to London from Edinburgh once I'd sorted out with the train manager that we would be able to stay on the train as our tickets said 14.30 departure but the booking information said 13.30 departure in one place and 14.30 in another. We'd decided to make this last, and longest journey in first class so it was important we were on the right train. He couldn't understand the reason for the two different times either but didn't have any problem with us staying on the train.

Once that was sorted out we were free to enjoy a fine ride back to London, well looked after by the train crew, who were always up and down with snacks and drinks including a very tasty meal.

Susan managed the underground trip from Kings Cross to Victoria well and the walk back home from the station. We took our time and arrived home at 8.00pm, even the journey from London was pleasant, not crowded although there was no first class accommodation on the train! What a swizz!
