Model boats at Mote Park

Susan managed a walk into town, albeit very slowly, this morning. Making a good recovery at the moment, we're hoping that it will continue that way.

It was a regular Saturday, town, coffee, lunch this time, home and allotment to see what had grown over the past 10 days - the weeds particularly had grown well but there were also plenty of beans and a few very large courgettes. I went for a short run after that, then prepared the dinner which used the aforementioned courgettes and beans.

The pace of activity will increase over the next few weeks as we complete the final preparations for the trip to British Colombia, Alberta and San Marcos which begins in just 3 weeks time. The list of tasks grows daily with allotment produce to process and some of the vast numbers of apples on our tree to juice.
