Turnip sawfly

There are a lot of these sawflies in the tall vegetation at the nature reserve. I'd rather use the name Athelia rosae than the less glamorous Turnip sawfly. They are really beautiful close up, with their black shoulders and stripey socks separating them from the equally numerous yellow and black Argid sawflies. This couple allowed my camera to get really close before breaking off their nuptials.
