Fidra

A lovely day in East Lothian and a lot less windy than yesterday. After breakfast we scrambled up Berwick Law. At only 600 feet or so it's hardly huge but the views from the top were excellent. There are Exmoor ponies on the Law (see extra). After that modest exercise, and coffee, we walked at Yellowcraig beach from which there's this view of Fidra. One of the islands in the Firth of Forth Fidra is home to breeding puffins but I expect they've all headed off now. The beach was busy with families and dog walkers enjoying the sunshine.

Home via lunch in Gullane, a quick pit stop in Edinburgh and out to collect Otter from his weekend digs and I've a feeling an early night is in store. A great weekend away.

I'll be catching up on your journals soon.
