Dragonfly Rescue

A rather strange blip.
This dragonfly sitting on a orchid stump in the green house was rescued by me. Persey brought his "catch" proudly through the cat flap. Unharmed, (except terrified), the poor insect was set back out to run its wings and eventually fly away. It did nip me when I picked it up.
I am grateful the daily catch was not a rodent or bird. Fortunately, Persey uses a gentle mouth to play with his toys. Now he has searched all over for this one.
