Green Leaves on the Street

I was walking to the Post Office to pick up our mail from our South Dakota outing and I passed this plant. Here is a quite different view of the same plant, from August 2011, already expressing ignorance as to what it is. I'd really appreciate an ID--anybody?

Edit: I've learned that it's a sedum, but not sure which--there are hundreds of them!
