A total solar eclipse occurred today, but there would only be about four percent coverage in the United Kingdom; I had hoped that I would at least be able to blip something of it. However, the weather did not play ball, it has been cloudy and overcast all day. So I will just have to admire all the eclipse pictures that I know my American friends will blip.
Fearing that would likely be the case I took some pictures of flowers and today’s blip is of yellow Crocosmia and mauve Lavender. For some one who dislikes yellow flowers as much as I do, there seem to be quite a lot in my garden!
It has been a funny sort of day. We had to wait in for a telephone call and for a parcel. The parcel arrived; the telephone call did not. I had planned to work on my crochet today, but my head was not in the right place, so I finished knitting a woolly hat for me for Winter in grey multi chunky wool. It needs a pompom, which will not be pink! I then started a neck warmer in the same wool. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day weather wise and that we shall receive the awaited telephone call, so that we can go out later in the week.
