Surprise

My work colleague presented me with a bag of fresh dates this morning. She had seen them in the market and thought of me - how lovely, I was really touched. Both of us are fans of dried dates which, if you'd seen Fridays Blip is probably no surprise however neither of us had tried fresh dates before. They are so different from dried dates - nice!
