Spoon Snap .....

..... blipsnap, that is!

mpp26 and I both captured this spoonbill in the Linwood Canal today - at different times. As she said to me, it's a rather dirty looking spoonbill, but don't its wings look gorgeous! I've put 2 more images of the spoonbill into Extras.

And that new lens yesterday? Believe it or not, it's faulty! I contacted the retailer today, and that was their guess, and so it proved to be. It hadn't even occurred to me that the lens could be at fault - I thought there was something I'd been doing wrong. Hopefully the replacement will arrive in enough time, before I leave for Australia.
